Listener Comments and Reviews

KAHM needs to increase their signal range and direction to include the East Valley. With the demise of KOY, there is a market for their format.

You guys are so greedy, charging $20 a month to stream your station when almost every other station in the world has free streaming.

So disappointed to find out after listening to your station for so many years on line for free, I move away from AZ for a few years ago and now I'm back and I find out you charge? What's that all about.... Oh, don't need to answer >>> it's called greed. SHAME ON YOU! And your stream is so weak in No. Scottsdale, it's very static and I can't listen on my Bose stereo. I say improve and stop charging or fold it up! P.S. ~ I know you don't care nor will you respond.

I use to listen online until KALM became closed to non local listeners and started charging. The music was beautiful. It reminded me of my early years when my dad would play his Music on the turn table and then later, on a reel to reel player. I guess I was about 6-14 years old. Honestly it was my dad’s love of music that made me love it. Listening to KAHM brought back those feelings of sharing music with my dad. He had been gone now 22 years and Ive never found a radio station like KAHM to fill the void. I’m not even sure what type of music to call it. All I know is he loved it and so did I. I miss you KAHM radio.

I loved your station when it was free. I live in Chicago. Was disappointed when you sent to pay for $20 a month. Wouldn't it better to have 100 listeners at $5 a month than 5 @$20. Just sayin.... you have a terrific library, share it and grow your listener base.

Can you play some music for me
By: Fernando R Lopez on July 18, 2020

I really enjoy your music selection - songs that I grew up listening to - I recognize most of them; however, is there any possibility that you could announce the name of the instrumentals that you play. While I recognize most of the melodies, I have no memory of the titles. If you could announce their titles, it would be so meaningful to be able to singe or hum along with the music! Thanks, Just a suggestion to make your music even more enjoyable!

I am a relative new comma to the area, and really enjoy your Music, and as I understand your station has the largest coverage in our area. I would assume, most of your “advisors” are local businesses, which I would assume pay for advertisements. I would like to point out one major deficiency: I believe it is pretty much universal that Ladies speak must FASTER than Men - Some of your lady advertisers speak so fast-rapidly that one can not understand what they are saying, thus they are not getting any value out of Advertising on your a station. I am writing - hoping you might consider reviewing such Advertisements, and help these Ladies improve their advertisement message, or messages. Thanks for listening!

My wife and I have listened to kahm for the 14 years we have lived in the phoenix area. Really loved your programing. However, since you recently shifted over to music only, including some really bad "funeral" type music, especially in the morning, we no longer have your station as our favorite. So sad ! We really liked hearing the vocals of the old favorite singers of the 40's, 50's, and 60's. Sorry to see your change. Any chance you will go back to the "old" programming of vocalists again ?

I enjoy your FM music very much; however, I am a volunteer with Northern Arizona HOSPIS Berivement Program, and many of our Referrals do not have a FM Radios. Do you broadcast on an AM station, which would enable so many of our grieving Referrals to enjoy your music selection, that so many of us Seniors grew up listening to.

on June 16, 2021 your announcer had about 15 seconds of dead air at 10:37 AM. On July 2nd, 2021 your announcer / DJ had about 60 seconds of dead air at 10:15 PM. I believe he needs to get his act together. Dead air is lost revenue from advertisements. I have been listening to KAHM for many years and this had not happened in the past.

Thanks for displaying the artist and song title. It is visible on my cars FM. Do you transmit also on your SCA channel? Keep up the good work.

Your music keeps us sane in this insane world. Even the high school kids like listening to KAHM on my husband's bus. They ask him what station it is, and tell him that's it's really cool music. How do I get the play list on my phone?

Hi,cranky old lady back. I wanted to thank so very much, whoever programmed the music on 8/21-8/24, then again 8/26-8/29, and 9-1 after 10 p.m.! The instrumentals ,ie, Hello with guitar, Yesterday When I was Young ,again with guitar, and others I heard on those nights, made me less cranky, not younger, but I thoroughly enjoyed the variety! Thank you so much!
