KPHX 1480 AM Radio Station Information

KPHX is an AM radio station broadcasting at 1480 KHz. The station is licensed to Phoenix, AZ and is part of that radio market. The station broadcasts Talk programming.

I use to live in Portland Oregon and listened to KPOJ. Then clear channel closed them down without stating any reason. I heard a new one yesterday, or new to me dealing with the elections in Arizona. I would love to see a debate hosted by a progressive group. I am sick of listening to the water down question to republicans. Questions like what about raising the minimum wage. I having money in the pockets of the local people better than the pockets of people living in New York or Arkansas? What about Employer responsibility for hiring illegals. After all if they can't work here they won't come. What about some new building codes for housing that includes Solar Panels, 6 inch walls with heavy insulation. If places like Atlanta are booming just from housing, then build houses here that will allow a person to stay in them year round without paying 500 a month in air conditioning. What about cutting spending by installing solar on all government buildings? What about changing the utility commission group. Why in the rest of the country you only pay for what you use in electricity. Not here, here they give the power companies a windfall when people are gone for six months. Its time to stop this minimum cost no matter what.
